Launching a business is always a leap of faith. One year ago, I took that leap with Napa Valley Noir, my luxury concierge company dedicated to curating extraordinary experiences in Wine Country.
What began as a dream in December 2023 to share my love for Napa and Sonoma through storytelling and insider expertise has turned into something more rewarding than I could have imagined when I officially launched on August 28, 2024.
In just twelve months, I’ve had the privilege of arranging private tastings with winemakers, hosting vineyard lunches with owners, partnering with world-class brands, and showing first-time visitors the magic of Wine Country in ways they never expected. I’ve curated journeys for clients as close as San Francisco and as far away as France; for women traveling solo to global leaders in their industries. I’ve dazzled first-timers and introduced hidden gems to longtime aficionados. And on occasion, I’ve even worked my magic abroad—like opening doors at Argiano in Tuscany, where I once lived.
To celebrate the milestone, I did what I would encourage any of my clients to do: I raised a glass at the breathtaking OVID Napa Valley estate on Pritchard Hill. That moment reminded me why I started Napa Valley Noir in the first place—to make people feel both at home and transported at the same time.
